John Sherman has been a practicing Licensed Occupational Therapist and Certified Shiatsu Therapist for thirty-nine years. He is a former Instructor and Professor of physical disabilities at Texas Woman’s University and San Jose State University. Born and raised in Boston, Dr. Sherman began his therapy practice in 1972. Since his first position as Chief Occupational Therapist at a rehabilitation center, he has practiced in all phases of therapy, including trauma, intensive care, orthopedics, burns, gerontology, pediatrics, mental health, substance abuse, and health and wellness.
In 1987, Sherman began his studies of natural therapies as a viable alternative to unnecessary prescriptions and over-the-counter medications. He realized the value of natural therapies practiced from other countries around the world that were safe and effective in treating common ailments and conditions.
Since that time, Sherman has been teaching thousands of patients and clients about natural therapies for effective self-treatment. Sherman authored his first book on natural therapies in 1997 and has continued to author books and articles. His most recent book, “Do-It-Yourself Natural Health: Natural Health Trio”has been honored with three book awards. The information empowers everyone to break the medication cycle and use three natural therapies for fast and effective self-treatments.
Recognized as an authority and expert in natural health, Sherman continues to promote natural therapies for better health and wellness without dangerous side effects. Because of recent drug-related events, natural therapies are a proven effective alternative to many prescription and over-the-counter medications.
Today he lives in Las Vegas, Nevada as a part time therapist and promoting and teaching natural health therapies. He has authored eight books on natural health.
